Functional Art

I create sculptural vessels, bowls and furniture in my workshop, in Frisco Texas. I incroporate solid exotic wood and plywood into my art pieces. I like using african padauk and purple heart wood becuase of their bold colors. I use power carving, grinding, and sanding tools for my freeform art pieces and a lathe and woodturning chisels to produce my turned bowls and boxes. I like clean and organic shapes. All of my sculptural art pieces are unique, however similar functional art pieces in a similar style can be commissioned.
